Associate in Science

Program Details

This program prepares students to perform counseling duties consistent with entry level addiction counselor positions in multiple levels of care. The 39-unit curriculum is an accredited and state approved and prepares graduates for the workforce with the required skills, competencies and standards to serve those afflicted with substance use disorders. This program is accredited by the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Educators and designed to meet the certification requirements of the State of California Department of Health Care Services who authorizes operation of CAADE.
