Program Details

This program prepares students to perform counseling duties consistent with entry level addiction counselor positions in multiple levels of care. The 39-unit curriculum is an accredited and state approved and prepares graduates for the workforce with the required skills, competencies and standards to serve those afflicted with substance use disorders. All courses used to satisfy the major must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. (RG 9411)
