Healthcare Administration

This certificate prepares students for management and leadership roles in health services and related organizations and systems. Students explore key issues facing healthcare delivery and learn strategies for managing effective and efficient operations. The curriculum covers public and private sector healthcare organizations, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, group practices, health maintenance organizations, health insurance and benefits administrations, and public health agencies. Emphasis is placed on organizational dynamics, healthcare policy, and administrative functions across diverse care settings. All courses used to satisfy the major must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. (RG 9734)
